The main aim of the Virtual Challenge Community is to create and animate a community made of relevant stakeholders active in the sector of footwear. This output was implemented in parallel with the other intellectual outputs and was active during the different phases of the project and will remain active after its end, to facilitate the effective exploitation of the intellectual outputs. The VCC can be accessed on the SHOEMAN website on the “Community” menu.
The Virtual Challenge Community served also as a platform for the Innovative footwear products competition, which lead to the launch of a crowd funding campaign for the winning team. The innovative footwear products competition involved relevant teams made up by students, researchers and companies. The competition can be accessed on the SHOEMAN website on the “Competition” menu.
